The Athletic Training Program (ATP) prepares health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients. Athletic training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities (nata.org).
*The Athletic Training Program is transitioning from a bachelor's to a master's program. We are not admitting new undergraduate students during the transition period. If you want to pursue a degree in athletic training, we encourage you to enter our kinesiology / pre-allied health major. Upon completing your bachelor's degree, you will be eligible to apply to the master's program in athletic training. We anticipate that the master's program will launch in summer 2019.
