The Athletic Training Program (ATP) prepares health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients. Athletic training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities (nata.org).
*Per accreditation standards, the Athletic Training Program is transitioning from a bachelor's to a master's program. We are not admitting new undergraduate students during the transition period. If you want to pursue a degree in athletic training, we encourage you to enter ou kinesiology / pre-allied health major. Upon completing your bachelor's degree, you will be eligible to apply to the master's program in athletic training. The Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program will launch in summer 2020. We will have application materials posted to the website soon.
